2015 NFL Hall of Fame Class

The Hall of Fame weekend just took place in Canton, Ohio this weekend. I am just now getting to watch the Hall of Fame ceremony as it was on late here last night. 8 former players will take their place in the Hall including

Jerome Bettis from Pittsburgh Steelers. 1993 to 1995 with the Rams;1996 to 2005 with the Steelers – Inducted by John Bettis

Tim Brown from the Oakland Raiders. Raiders all time leader in Rec, Rec Yards and Rec TD. ( Heisman trophy winners in the H.O.F but Tim is the first receiver – Inducted by Don Kelly, Tim’s Brother

Charles Haley from the Dallas Cowboys – owns 5 super bowl rings. Inducted by Eddie DeBartolo Jr. San Francisco 49ers owner from 1997 to 2000

Bill Polian GM of the Buffalo Bills from 1984 to 1992, Panthers from 1995 to 1997 and the Colts from 1998 to 2011. 6 time NFL Executive of the year. Helped many teams through out his career  – Inducted by Marv Leavy.

Junior Seau from the San Diego Chargers, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots His number has been retired. – Inducted by Sydney Seau, his daughter

Will Shields from the Kansas City Chiefs. Never missed a game in his career, – 3rd round pick from Nebraska Inducted by Andrein Lunsburg.

Mick Tingelhoff of the Minnesota Vikings – the 16th member of the Hall of Fame to come in as an undrafted free agent. Started every game in his career.  Inducted by Fran Tarkenton. Waited 37 years to make it to the Hall of Fame. Fran spoke for Mick today.

Ron Wolf from the Green Bay Packers. A scout for Oakland Raiders, – Inducted by Ron’s son Elliot Wolf. Worked for Al Davis for 26 years.
